I'm rather excited about Spore. I often dream of a culture of four-armed snake-people in tanks taking over the universe with me as their god.

Now...just gotta hope they let you have creatures with zero legs.

I'm starting to fear more and more that Spore will be quite a disapointment. Ofcource it will get raving reviews and will sell like Oblivion but which high profile game doesn't these days?

I've been very exited about spore, for more than a year now, it gets old. I'll buy it and love it. I will first create some kind of Centipede with many many many many legs and without a real head.

The release delays are getting annoying though.

I want it but my computer won't be able to handle it so I'm not getting my self worked up for it so that way when I finally do get it, it won't be a disappointment to me.

As much as I want to play Spore, I think you're right. If they don't get it out in the next six months, it might never make it. Which would just be a waste of a potentially awesome game. Also, is Too Human ever going to come out? I've been waiting for six months and still no sci-fi/Norse myth/action rpg.

It isn't out YET? Wow, I thought it had come out a year or so ago given how long the hype's been going on.

I'm curious about it, but not pay-money curious. From what (admittedly little) I've heard, it sounds like The Sims, which was...meh. :smallsmile:

I think Spore will finally get released sometime late next year, and I think it will be a fantastic game (though probably lacking a bit of the 'as advertised' statements made so far). I don't think it'll go the way of Vaporware or SC:Ghost.

If you want proof that a game delayed for more than 5 years can be good, just look at STALKER: Shadows of Chernobyl.

Spore is done, all that has to happen now is the burning of the disks. Its slated for April-June 08 release

My friend is really looking forward to spore, I love pointing out it could suck.

He said it's my fault if it sucks.

Either way the game looks interesting, if it's pulled off well enough I might get it.
