Hey all,

So, I'm looking for Epic level PrCs outside of the ELH/SRD.

http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/epicBasicsAndClasses.htm

Agent Retriever
Cosmic Descryer
Divine Emissary
Epic Infiltrator
Guardian Paramount
High Proselytizer
Legendary Dreadnought
Perfect Wight
Union Sentinel

I believe there some in Draconomicon, web articles, and issues of Dragon?

There are some web enhancement (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/arch/ei) epic PrCs, and Dragon #297 has some. Player's Guide to Faerūn has some, and Races of Faerūn has one. Some Draconomicon PrCs are effectively epic due to requiring base attack bonuses over +20, as well.

Cheers - T

Have you met my friend the Master Arcane Artisan (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ei/20030314a)?

I love this prestige class. I've never gotten to play it unfortunately, but man oh man, have I got a concept for running one

EDIT: How could I have forgotten this as well:

The old Athas.org (http://athas.org/products/loa) has several prestige classes as well that were given the good old WoTC seal of approval including prestige classes like Athasian Dragon, Avangion, Elemental Lord, Order Adept, Shadow Shifter, and Spirit Initiate.

Athasian Dragon was in a Dragon Magazine where they did the "official" 3.5 Dark Sun adaptation.

Dragon #308 have "Morrowind: Tribunal: Paths To Power" article, which includes the Ordinator and Empowered PrC

Beholder Mage is [epic] too, because the only "playable" Beholder in the whole game (Bleeder from Dragon Compendium) have 10 HD and LA +16 - thus, Epic before any class levels

Nice one, I thought I knew all the epic prestige classes but those ones are new to me.

No, but I've been meaning to.

I'll probably create an extended sig for myself somewhere.

Ordinator is a weird one: if I'm reading correctly, you can enter it pre-epic, but you cannot finish it pre-epic.

LA +16!?! :smalleek:

There is no way that is even remotely playable.

But all other Beholders in the game (even 3rd-party ones) are have "LA: -" - thus, unplayable, full stop

Bleeder is "playable" in the "Among the blind the one-eyed man is king" sense

I'm in two minds about whether to add Beholder Mage or not...I mean, with PAO shenanigans, could you get into it pre-epic? I mean, technically it can be a pre-epic PrC, but not for PCs.

Do any other beholderkin qualify? Hmm, doesn't like like any other have a listed LA.

If 3rd party counts, do the Half-beholders from Bastards and Bloodlines have LA? WOuld they qualify for the PrC?

They have an LA of +6, +7, or +8 depending on the number of eyestalks, and they cannot qualify anyway. They are not True Beholders, not even Aberrations; and even if you could cheese it, they need a central antimagic eye so they can put it out to qualify for the prc. No dice there. There are probably pre-Epic exploits detailed somewhere, though; the prc is too powerful for people not to have taken a crack at breaking it.

I was AFB, but I had a feeling they wouldn't qualify.

It requires Epic Attack Bonus +2 to enter.
