Are there any casters you can summon using Gate that can Heal, Reincarnate, or Resurrect? What sort of casters can you summon using the Gate spell?

Angels are probably your best bet, if you're looking for healy-type casters. Planetars cast as 17th level Clerics and have at least one copy of Heal on their 'usually prepares these spells' list; if you can get it to hang around or arrange for a specific service it could prepare anything on the standard Cleric list. Solars have both Resurrection and Heal as 3/day Spell Like Abilities, in addition to their Cleric casting and 1/day Wish.

..really once you have access to Gate 'Summon a Solar' is a pretty broadly applicable solution. You have to get pretty obscure to find something a Solar can't help you with.

(There are of course plenty of other options, but if you're going with Gate you want the big guns. A lot of the other casting summons can be secured with a Planar Binding, Planar Ally, or even a Summon Monster line spell.)

There's a section on spellcasters you can pull in with summon monster, idk of a gate list. Going to agree about Solars or angels and Gate. Genies are fun too. BoED156 has a list of named Planar Allies, statted in that book. I think some of the other books with deities have some named followers.

Better than devils or demons. The angels at least are unlikely to attack you outright unless you're evil or make them do evil acts. I'd say it's far more important what you're summoning them for.
The nature of the task should definitely be a consideration before you start gating in planetars and solars.
Or anything, really, since most spellcasting concerns can be handled by Summon Monster - Monadic Devae have Raise Dead as a SLA, Leonals get Heal and Ursinals get 6th level wizard spells.

Gate? Yes, absolutely. Core options are the Solar (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/angel.htm#angelSolar) (Cleric-20, Heal and Resurrection on their spell-like list), Planetar (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/angel.htm#angelPlanetar) (Cleric-17, and Raise Dead on their spell-like list, Heal on their typically prepared list), Trumpet Archon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/archon.htm#trumpetArchon) (Cleric 14, Raise Dead and Heal on their typical spells prepared list), and Ghaele (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/ghaele.htm) (Cleric 14, Heal and Raise Dead on their typical spells prepared list). Non-core gets wider.

Also, of course, Efreeti, Noble Dijinni, Solars, and Glabrezou's get Wish spell-like abilities, which can be used for any of the above.

A couple of the Summon Monster critters also get decent HP healing abilities.
