1) Salt Mummy - it's salty and funny to look at.
2) Hill Giant - poor wielding hunchback of Notrodame.
3) Kobolds - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew :smallyuk:
4) Warforged Scout - crap. Just play a normal one.
5) Drow - life is pain especially with these wankers around.

I actually own the first Monster Manual and Fiend Folio books, so I have plenty of examples.

1) Flumph — Stupidest damn monster ever conceived.

"PC: Darn! My sword cannot penetrate its hard shell! But what if I hit it on the bottom?"
"DM: Well, there's one monster I'm never using again."
2) Giant Skunk — Seriously? A giant skunk? You couldn't have thought of something a little less ... mundane and non-threatening?
3) Sea Lion — Oh, I get it. Body of a fish, head of a lion. How long did it take to conjure up that fearsome beastie? :smallannoyed:
4) Gibberling — Did the D&D world need another version of the kobold?
5) Skulk — They were invisible humans who murdered people and lived on the fringes of society. Basically a shoddy version of the invisible stalker.

P.S. I actually like the owlbear. :smallfrown:

1. Owlbear. I think Varsuvius explained why to all of us
2. Dretch. Demons are supposed to be scary, not short green fat guys.
3. Gray Render. Apparently it only creates one child in it's lifetime. How have these things not become extinct yet?
4. Were-rat. How could a lycanthrope be less scary?
5. Clockwork roach. Seriously, what idiot decided to make a mechanical roach?

Thank you for explaining what 'MM' means.

Alas, it now means I have nothing to add to this thread.
