Looking for a random map generator for a long game

Hello guys :)

I am searching for a random map generator for a long character driven game I am planning to run to some friends.

I am planning to use a modified version on the lore point system in order to let the player add facts about the world(from a minor fact to a world shattering one).

I already know that using a map from a setting will not work with my friends(some are playing from the first edition published so they know most of the settings).

I am looking for a big world maps, not towns and kingdoms.


If you know more then one map generator which is your favourite?

I "homemade" my map using GIMP following a youtube video I could track down if you'd like (then a now-ex offered some extra prettying up to great effect), but I've seen some maps using this and it looks good overall: https://azgaar.github.io/Fantasy-Map-Generator/. Note that refreshing does't generate a new map; you'll need to load the site fresh.

I will be happy to get the video if it is ok with you, but I think I can manage with that.
I will just use paint to add mountains and grass and stuff.

In my case Terragen then adapted the maps, but that (or similar software, looks like there are alternatives if you want to embellish) is optional anyway!

I'd link it if I could, but there is a thread on Cartographer's Guild titled "[Award Winner] Eriond - A Tutorial for GIMP & Wilbur" that I found very helpful in generating maps like this.
