Two Undeads out of one humanoid?

Say you have somebody die a gruesome dead- gruesome enough they spontaneously rise as an undead such as a ghost (let's assume something incorporal). Could the body of this poor soul still be raised as a corporal undead? Or is there a rule anywhere such as: one soul- one undead? :smallconfused:

No, as far as I can tell there's no rules against this. In fact, this is the case for one encounter in Expedition to Undermountain.

The same goes for Pathfinder, unless you play in the Golarion setting. Undead in Golarion are always the result of soul mangling.
