Sorry if this is something that would better fit in a generalized question thread, but I came across something strange - I think - in the Wild Cohort feat.

Specifically this part:

You can use the Handle Animal skill on your animal cohort as a move action rather than as a standard action, and you gain a +2 bonus on all Handle Animal checks made to direct or influence your animal cohort.

Meanwhile, looking at the rules for Handle Animal:

Action
Varies. Handling an animal is a move action, while pushing an animal is a full-round action. (A druid or ranger can handle her animal companion as a free action or push it as a move action.)

Am I missing something? I've never seen this mentioned in discussion about Wild Cohort before. Should I assume that this is treated like Druid and Rangers and handling is a free action instead of a move?
