Retainer?

If you've read the Noble background you probably remember the optional Retainer feature. It's pretty great if you ask me! I've been playing a concubine on the run from her father for some months now, and I've fluffed the retainers as girls my character rescued from bad situations. What are the uses of Retainers you've seen? (Besides marrying them all using the Ceremony spell to enjoy some lovely AC bonus on the honeymoon :smallwink: )
