armors that are 'otherwise identical' to a chain shirt..

Is there any mundane exotic armors ( or not ) that are better than chain shirt Armor class wise, but include language of 'otherwise identical to a chain shirt'. Mainly so Dastana and char-aina can be used with.

-edit- Alternative options like Luminous armor are not always an option available.

All I got is the Vassal of Bahamut's Platinum Armor but you can't just buy that. You have to actually be a Vassal of Bahamut.

There are some specific magical chain shirts: Tigerskin Armor (MIC), Mithralmist Shirt (MIC), Gazebane (A&EG) and Infiltrator (WoL). Probably others, too.

Ysgardian Heartwire (A&EG) can specifically be incorporated into chain shirts, among others, and increases effective AC vs. crit confirmations.

...but none of that is really what OP is looking for.

Aside from the class ability for the Vassal if Bahamut (great find, by the way Kelb), I think there aren't many other options; or at least none with better base AC: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?560320-3-5-highest-ac-armor-compatible-with-chahar-and-dastana

Is there any special materials or armor properties/templates that increase base AC? Gloryborn (DMG 2) gives +1 AC while charging, FWIW.
