Hello everyone!
So, my previous attempt at a Daggerspell Grappler left me kind of unsatisfied, mostly because grappling.

In short: I'm about to start a 3.5 game at lv 3 with a (3.0 Vanara) Shapeshifting Mystic Ranger.

Rolls: 9, 10, 12, 13, 13, 13

Now, my first 10 levels look solid enough to me, as follows:

*Asked the dm if entering with Skirmish into DSS could give me Skirmish advancement instead of Sneak Attack dice, he seems ok with it.

Although I like this part, I'm open to suggestion.

What I'm debating with myself is how to continue, specifically the merit in taking 10 levels of DSS, which in my opinion would be worth only adding Sword of the Arcane order to the mix. So I came up with 2 possible paths: one focused on Ranger levels, and one focused on DSS levels:
