Now it seems all we have are Monty Python references, which is odd because Miko wasn't really anything like Monty Python. For one thing, Miko is a rather stereotypical Paladin, who deviates slightly by means of Zealotic activity, whereas Monty Python were groundbreaking in their comedy largely because it was both rude and bizarre. In short, in order for Miko to be like Monty Python, she'd need to be ruder, and more bizarre.

And now, to upset the Moderators, we're going to use the word "Penis" in the form of poetry...

I don't think Rich is labouring under any misconception that Miko is a popular character, as such. Though, it does give me no small amount of personal satisfaction so observe the degree of interest she arouses, even when:
(A) Dead
(B) With no immediately plausible means of revival,
(C) Completely absent from the strip.
I'm not certain why, exactly- the personal satisfaction bit, that is. Though, I have done my small part to spread GLORIOUS CHAOS-

Miko was an innocent bystander corrupted by Belkar and emotionally brutalized by Roy, and was manipulated completely by Shojo. She should go to heaven because she did what she thinks is right and intent is important. Roy should pay for being so cruel to her.

Also, her killing Shojo didn't necessarily mean she was dangerous, since she may or may not have dropped her sword, off panel. And her fragile mind was fractured by Roy who only attacked her because he's a misogynistic ****. Roy's going to burn.
