[Contest] Baby Avatars

Well, since I seem to have been massing an armada of baby avatars, I may as well suggest a Baby Avatar Contest. I've got myself a Sneakatar and a Bathatar, so I'm interested in seeing what other people have got up their sleeves.

Since Roy also apparently has a baby brother, thought this might be a good time to bring this up. No, I won't use the baby avatars submitted here. That's why there's a thread called the Request an OotS Style Avatar XV. Alrighty, now onto Criteria, following the Iron Avatarist Format:

The Crunch:Categories:
Best Avatar Baby
Best Baby Group [1 > Baby = A Group]
The Best Overall Category will be judged.

For a more complete summary of the rules for those who don't know them, refer to the most recent Iron Avatarist Thread, about the Vacation Category. Remember that this is [I]not an official contest whatsoever. I merely wish to see your work.


Several things would be very helpful to me. First, if anyone wishes to help judge, then that'd be great. Also, I'll be working on trophies, unless someone beats me to the punch... . More things will come as I remember them. Once again, if an image is posted here, please do not use it without the artist's permission.

Another one that could've been suggested as an Iron Avatarist? Not as sure about this one... I do think it could make a good IA, though.

Could have been for IA, but since the lesser artists really lose out in those contests to the powerhouses of GitP Avatar Artists... Besides, IA is usually for OotS and Erfworld characters. I suppose this is a broader character. Anything goes... within reason.

Keep working on them. This is in no way, shape or form an IA contest. Could be the characters of the Order of the Stick, doesn't have to be.

Looks nice, although if it's an avatar, It ought to be in 117x117 pixel format.

Neftren, it wasnt specifically ment as an avatar, though if Mr.EdwardNigma wants it as an avatar I could probably resize and look it over and edit.

1 when will the contest end?
2 who will judge it, apart from you(yes, you Neftren)
3 so far only four people have posted art, just to know I find it a bit little compared to the iron contests, but I should expect that, shouldnt I?

2. Just me, unless someone else wishes to judge.
3. Yes, this is not really official, so it doesn't get much publicity without the Iron Avatarist Tag.

Words ending in "y" turn into "i" when something is added to it (happy> happiness). If what's added is an s, they also take an e (bury > he buries)

So puppy> puppies.

Also, Thog doesn't use capital letters when he talks.
And I think his body is too long. Try a perfect square, maybe?

Just a tip, when drawing OotS style, make one eye a vertical oval, and the other a smaller, shorter oval. So it looks a bit like Oo kind of...

Anybody want to make me a Baby demon avatar as part of this contest? If so, I might use it in the near future.

Maybe he could have a little pitchfork or a skull-head rattle, and a white diaper would be a good contrast against bright-red skin. He should also have tiny little horns.

I don't see why not, although the IA trophies are much more prestigous... /shrug.
