Alright, here is my idea for a Two-Weapon Fighting Base Class

The Dragon Fang
With a blade in each hand and speed to match the fastest creatures, the Dragon Fang is a match for any class. With his quick mind adn even faster attacks, a Dragon Fang is capable of downing a foe before they have time to react.

Abilities: Strength is an important ability for a Dragon Fang who wants to deal a high amount of Damage. A high Dexterity helps a Dragon Fang avoid damage due to the lack of heavy armor and helps a Dragon Fang with a number of his skills. Constitution helps a Dragon Fang to stay in combat longer with more Hit Points. Wisdom helps a Dragon Fang with his perception and his Slice ability.

Role: Dragon Fangs provide a unique role in almost any adventuring group. Short of casting spells, they can fill almost any role. They have stealth for being a scout, the fighting capabilities of a ranger, and a few social skills. With their unique combat style, they make great soldiers and they are maneuverable enough to aid a rogue with amost any flank.

Background: Dragon Fangs are a mysterious group. According to legend, they were originally rangers that had earned the favor of an old dragon. He admired their sense of responsibilty to the forest which he called his home and in return, he taught them a new style of combat. However, No Dragon Fangs when asked will tell you exactly what happened and they neither confirm or deny that they have relations to dragons.

Orginazation: Most Dragon Fangs prefer to be left alone as they are pretty good on their own, but they do enjoy the occasional company. They share the same zeal for good as a paladin, but the good a Dragon Fang seeks is what he believes to be good. Dragon Fangs have an incredible friendly relationship with rangers, whose combat style is their ancestor (according to some). They are fine with druids, but they are hesitant to be freindly with spellcasters due to their power that doesn't care whether the wielder is good or evil.

Alignment: Since Dragon Fangs seek to promote good in the world, they are always Lawful Good, Neutral Good, or Chaotic Good.

Races: Humans with their highly adaptable life style are common to this class. Elves who trained hard with their blades are often the most powerful Dragon Fangs. Dwarves are hardly Dragon Fangs due to their loyalty to their kind over their wanting to promote good for everyone. Halflings are well suited to this class, being small and quick. Half-elves and Half-orcs, while not horrible with this class, rarely become Dragon Fangs.

Religion: Dragon Fangs tend not to follow a single deity, but rather an ideal. The Dragon Fang has a strict desire for good and pursues that good for all of his adventures.

Other Classes: Dragon Fangs work well with most classes, sharing the zealotry of a paladin, the fighting technique of a ranger, the stealth of a rogue, and the versatility of a musicless bard.

Hit Die: d8

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The Dragon Fang is proficient with all simple and martial weapons and with light armor. The Dragon Fang loses all class abilities if he wears Medium or Heavy armor.

Fast Movement: A Dragon Fang gains a speed bonus starting at +5 ft. at first level and increases by 5 ft. for every three levels thereafter.

Two-Weapon Fighting: At second level, a Dragon Fang gains the Two-Weapon Fighting feat even if he does not normally meet the prerequisites.

Adrenaline Blades: Whenever a Dragon Fang of third level or higher scores a critical hit with his weapon(s), he may immediately make a second attack at that same attack bonus before continuing on with the rest of his normal amount of attacks.

Slice: Once per day, A Dragon Fang of third level or higher may declare a Slice attack on an opponent before making his attack roll. A Dragon Fang may then add his Wisdom bonus (if any) to his attack and damage rolls for all his attacks that round. He may use this ability an additional time per day for every three levels above third.

Quick Draw: A Dragon Fang gains the Quick Draw feat for free at fourth level.

Two-Weapon Spring Attack: When making a Spring Attack, A Dragon Fang of fifth level may attack once with both weapons, incurring the penalties he would if attacking with both weapons normally (Ambidexterity applies to these attacks).

I have to get to bed now, I will continue this class tomorrow, but how does it look?

Very interesting. I've always liked the dual-wielder idea, but twf has always been really expensive - you might consider doing what many on this forum have done and condensing twf into one feat. You've already got a very busy and full table as it is.

Improved Quick Draw? Ambidexterity? I've a feeling that this might get overpowered as you fill out more of the class abilities, because those sound like delicious ideas.

We do have a bit of MAD (Multiple Ability Dependency/Disorder) going on here. One thing that might be cool would be if you made a lower-mid-level class ability that allowed the Dragon Fang to Finesse any weapon. That would really set it apart, and would reduce the strength dependence. This way, you've got decent damage from better weapons and wis bonus, and a nice to-hit from your dex. Con's always important for a melee'er

All in all, it feels like a ranger, with the archery option, nature, spellcasting, and tracking bits taken out.
In short, all the watered-down elements that other classes do better.
... THANK YOU.
