Regeneration is bypassed by the material, energy, OR the alignment. You do not pick one, you pick one of each and it can be bypassed as appropriate. For instance, it could be Regeneration [Adamantine, Fire or Lawful] and be bypassed by a mundane adamantine sword, or by an Axiomatic Warhammer, or by the extra damage of a Fiery weapon.

In addition, the material must be Adamantine, Cold Iron, Silver, or Wood without special DM permission. No Obdurium or any other only in one sourcebook material.
