I just wanted to share with you a recent realization I made on my NPC generation, and would be interested in other dm's/gm's sharing their own tendencies. It is of course also a reflection of how I do things, and by reflecting I can improve upon my work.

My Npc's tend to be not particularly visually appealing, and even facing physical disabilities, an example from last session:
Baelus, a middle aged man, overweight in a me wheel chair, his skin has an unnatural leathery tan.
Goran, a sullen (human) giant. Bearded to hide a portion of nasty scar after a facial reconstruction with an artificial eye.
Abu, a very old man with abnormally long and bent limbs. He´s a mute with a small speaker box which he can sometime talk through, when the speaker is actually working.

My Npc's also tend to me very authoritative. at least those in a position of power are very exertive of their power and are very unyielding.
I also tend to field npc's that frequently use logical fallacies and adhere to them.
Also, npc's that are fundamentally wrong in their world view.

Any tendancies you guys and girls want to share?
