My players are currently enjoying a harvest festival in a big city. One of the attractions is a crucible or arena fought. The party will get to fight monsters in kind of a galditorial manner, for a prize! Which is yet to be decided. It's a party of 6 to 7 level 6 characters.
My question. What kinds of fights would be level appropriate and fun for them? They should get harder as they go, and I'm thinking a max of 3 fights if they survive them all. I don't want it to take all night but be fun.
Also, what kinds of terrain features have you found to be fun in this sort of fight?
Annnnd one more question, thoughts on an appropriate prize?
