Since this seems to be the trendy thing to do i am starting a contest.

I am asking for someone to make me a deck of cards. Face out and relatively small. Best deck gets used in an upcoming game. That is all thank you in advance for doing this.

Indeed. "Best deck gets used..." doesn't quite work here. We need to know exactly what you'd like to see because none of us have the time to make 52 cards you might not use.

To clarify 52 cards.

If several decks are made i will use them all. Probably mix things up.


Also you really only have to make 13 cards with a slight symbol variation in the corner. I don't need it too fancy.

You can just have the card with (example) 10* in the corner. I don't need the symbols in the middle.

I'm working on one, but having some trouble with it.
Here is what I have so far:

suites: Roaches (spades), Banjo (hearts), greenhilt sword (diamond) and.. ??? (clubs).

Roaches: K= Xykon, Q=Redcloak, J=CitD
Banjo: K=Elan Q=Haley J=Belkar (the three members of the Church of Banjo/ the three Chaotic ones)
Greenhilt Sword: K=Roy Q=Vaarsuvius J=Durkon
???: K=Nale, Q=Sabine, J=Thog.

Jokers: Stick (order of the stick) and Crown (Xykon's crown).

I need a suite for the linear guild. Ideally, the suite works for all of them, otherwise it has to be best suited for the King (Nale).

Aces are just the "one of something", so one big cockroach, the Greenhilt sword, Banjo, etc.

Cards from 2 to 10 have the appropriate number of the suite symbol, as well as the number written in the corner.

I also need to work on a design for the back of the cards. The stick is already taken for a joker, so I guess I'll just have "the order of the stick" written on the backs or something.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

By the way, it probably won't be done in time, so doun't count too much on it, i'm now working on it to use it for myself, although I'll be happy to share (as long as it's legal. I intend to draw all the characters in my own style so that it qualifies as fanart and doesn't violate the copyright).

I think I'll have "blueprints" being the last suite, as I didn't get any suggestions and that's the only suite left to draw.

I guess they lookd more like diamonds, but I don't really care, as in this deck, the suits are banjos, Greenhilt swords, demon roaches and blueprints. I gave them the other name just in case you want to play a game for which it matters.

Anyway, I'll be working on the face cards now.

I've been enjoying yours too. I'm wondering, though, what if you added the symbols next to the number cards, too? It might be easier at first glance... Of course, you can see the symbols right under the number, but, as you put them next to the face card letters... Just saying, it's your call. :)

Makes sense. Especially since I kinda did the oposite: my face figures have the symbol only twice, instead of in all four corners, to allow for bigger images.
