Possible holdiday discount in future?

I want to get a friend of mine some of the books for Christmas, is there any sale slated for the near future?

Can't speak for the Giant, but I don't remember there *ever* being any sort of sale on the books.

I do not expect there to ever be a sale. This is the Giant's livelihood, and I do not imagine, from what he's said, margins to be large enough to allow for a sale. Not to mention, if there is a sale, then there is a good chunk of people who tend to see the sale price as the maximum they're willing to pay, which will then cut down on any further sales.
