Wildhunt Shifter w/ Barbarian Reckless attack

Is it just me?

I am sure I am reading Wildhunt shifter's shift feature

"While shifted, you have advantage on Wisdom checks, and no creature within 30 feet of you can make an attack roll with advantage against you, unless you’re incapacitated."

as completely negating advantage, as in the "attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn." from Reckless attack.

Am I reading it right?

Not overpowered to be sure, but it is a nice interaction.

Well, no one within 30 feet at least. Anyone outside of 30 feet has advantage still. Other than that, you are choosing a race that gives a bonus to Wis/Dex for a barbarian and can only do it 1 minute a short rest. Seems like a legitimate trade off to me.
