Hey guys, I am thinking of making a big drawing in the oots style but I badly need some references for drawing combat that looks good in the OOTS style. Can you refer me to your favorite good-looking combat strips/panels? Especially from the newest art style but older panels are fine too.

The Order vs "Thog". (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0850.html)

Roy leaping off of the balcony to confront "Durkon". (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1000.html)

1) I am a sexy shoeless god of war. http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0439.html

2) ... I don't expect any trouble http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0611.html (really here the epic part is the "I am a sexy shoeless god of war" repeated in the dream, because honestly the thieves were ridiculously low level, but the ominous shadow of Belkar behind the poor clueless thief is awesome)

3) But seriously? You? Kill me? http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0616.html (much less epic and cool of the ones before, because effortless, but exactly because it is effortless, much more impressive, since Crystal was an assassin of the same level of Haley -and therefore of Belkar.)

Two sides of the same conflict: "I'm still a dragon" (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0627.html) and "Shapechange" (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0638.html)

Many (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0795.html) instances (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0796.html) of Roy vs Thog (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0808.html).

The rise (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1009.html) of the Green Flame (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1010.html).

Careful, the world isn’t ready for such an epic confrontation yet.

How about the cover of War & XPs?

The scenes with the Worm have the more recent art...

If you can look past the wall of stone, there's some epic stuff going on in the background.

You'll get a better view of Roy in this one, though...

My personal favorite, though one could argue it's not of actual combat, is #105 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0105.html), the first epic battle piece of OotS.

If you want epic Epic, you should look at panel 3 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0196.html). (or maybe scenes with Darth V vs. Xykon)

If you have Good Deeds Gone Unpunished, I'd like to nominate the very first panel of How the Paladin Got his Scar. Hobgoblins have reduced the Azurite forces to one man: O-Chul. The hobgoblins are retreating.
