So, let's say a player wanted to be able to gain soulmelds via grafts. How would you price that? Would it be unbalanced?

The Shape Soulmeld feat lets someone get a soulmeld, so one soulmeld ~ one feat.

The heroics spell gives someone a fighter bonus feat, so one feat ~ one 2nd level spell that lasts 10 minutes/level. We'll assume that the modifiers for granting a non-fighter-bonus feat is roughly negligible.

An item that grants a constant 2nd level spell of 10 minutes/level costs 2000gp x 2(spell level) x 3(minimum caster level) x1.5 (10 min/level spell) = 18,000 gp. You can make an argument that in function, it actually grants the spell once per day, during the time it takes to shape a soulmeld. Under this assumption, it requires a caster level of 6, but the price goes down to 1,800 gp x 2 x 6 x 1/5 (one charge per day) = 4,320 gp; however, this is significantly more shaky rules-wise.

Finally, the multiplier for being a graft; it's probably in the realm of x1.5 for being an "uncustomary space limitation", bringing the cost up to 27,000 gp or 6480 gp. A price somewhere in this range is probably reasonable.

Thanks!
Should I adjust by much if I use the graft rules from Dark Sun?

A creature would have a limited number of graft slots determined by its Constitution bonus and size.

Without having read those rules in detail, I'd say that limit falls under the general category of the "uncustomary item slot" multiplier.
