just some notes after seeing one in play for a few weeks. seen 2 in play from 1-11 now and some interesting things have come up.
mending, mending, mending. the relative low AC of the SD means it gets hit often. anyone can use mending on it so bribe other members of the party to pick it up to save time.
later levels of infusions may be quite a boon on the SD. gauntlets pf ogre power, cloak of protection, and such can really help it stay up longer and it hitting harder could draw more enemy attacks. player is looking forward to winged boots
arcane jolt is weak but with the battle smith's crowded action economy its welcomed. being able to use your action or the SD/bonus action to heal is not to be taken lightly. the damage is nice to use on crits but the free action heal is amazing.
