Call it Test of Will, presence attack, etc.

I always want to play a skilfull character that will not backstab people or be dishonorable. A politician, a craftman, etc. If you want to play a pacifist, using no weapons or magic and or you want a non-martial “rogue” character, here is an alternative. Other game systems like HERO or TORG use such system, but they don,t reduce hit points. This homebrew add does.

Use Ch for the attack instead of St/Dx
AC: 10+ Ws + Iq bonus.
Weapon damage: d6+Ch

range: 30'. Must be able to detect presence of each other. Effects that cause advantage or disadvantages to attack (ex: invisibility) also affect this attack.

Reduce a creature hp to 0 that way cause target to be demoralized, without energy, not a further treat. Use the stunned condition in reference to the environment you're still in combat encounter due to other characters interaction.

Must recover hp as usual. Healing to 1p will remove the stunned condition.
Rogues can apply the dice bonus with no finesse weapon limitation.

Sneak attack condition: The sneak attack extra dices cannot be added to damage applied to creatures immuned to charmed or frightened condition , as well as intimidation and compulsion effects. But you don't need advantage or an ally 5' from the target.

Seems fair ?
