Is this a comparable Smite spell to the others? Overpowered or unbalanced? What do you all think?

Agonizing Smite
1st Level evocation
Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range: Self
Components: V, M (a whip)
Duration: concentration, up to 1 minute
The first time you hit with a melee weapon attack from a whip during this spell’s duration, your attack deals an extra 1d4 slashing damage to the target. Additionally, if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or fall prone, becoming incapacitated and unable to stand up for the duration, as it is wracked with bolts of pain and agonizing cramps throughout its body. Constructs are not affected by this spell.

At the end of each of its turns, and each time it takes damage, the target can make another Wisdom saving throw. The target has advantage on the saving throw if it’s triggered by damage. On a success, the spell ends.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the target creature no longer gets additional saving throws each time it takes damage.

Way too broken.

As a first level Paladin spell it...

* has reach (whip)
* does bonus damage (small but still there)
* prones a target (good condition)
* incapacitates a target (powerful condition)
* is an ongoing effect. (Powerful)
* has no duration or concentration on the ongoing effect (figured this was accidental, the durstion in the spell description is how long the spell last after you cast it as a bonus actio and until you hit with a whip attack).

I would do something like this to keep it more in line with Smite Spells...

Agonizing Smite
1st Level evocation
Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range: Self
Components: V, M (a whip)
Duration: concentration, up to 1 minute

The first time you hit with a melee weapon attack from a whip during this spell’s duration, your attack deals an extra 1d4 slashing damage to the target.

Additionally, if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or fall prone and unable to stand until the end of their next turn as it is wracked with bolts of pain and agonizing cramps throughout its body. Constructs are not affected by this spell.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, a creature hit with your agonizing smite takes an additional 1d4 slashing damage.
