So were looking through some old UA and really like what they did with the BM ranger, it actually seems functional and fun!
Were wondering what you fine folks think would get the most out of a full BM build with no MC or max a 1 level dip?
Were myself thinking a STR based one with polearm master and either dueling style with quarterstaff and shield or defense with a glaive to guarantee two attacks for yourself to make up for no extra attack. Other option would be crossbow master with hand crossbow for the same reason.
Another thing that might be worth it could be magic initiate wizard for gfb and bb cantrips and mage armor spell for animal companion since it’s 8 hrs no concentration?
For melee build the wolf is probably best with its pack tactics and chance to prone creatures? For the crossbow ranger I’m not sure?
