Hi playground. Going to be running a CotCT 10th anniversary edition for a group of pretty new players starring tomorrow. I wanting something with more RP focus, less murder hobo friendly, and with easy access to npc spellcasting and magic shops than RotRL.
We have a commitment for a bard and cleric so far, and everyone of non-evil alignment but 2 undecided characters. On the table is all 1st party, PoW and Akashic Mysteries and city of 7 seraphs (non-psionics).
Everyone is getting 3 traits, one campaign and 2 normal, and one bonus language from Varisian, Chelian?, Vudra and Shonti. The majorish ethnicities of the AP. I rarely use them but seems decent.
Seeing as these players are very green, and I have only read the first bit of the AP so far, any other tips as I go along? Session 0&1 maybe is tomorrow.
