Hello all,

I tried to do a search and couldn't find a post really talking about how to run a acq. inc. game. I am a fairly new dm and my group is going to be changing from 3.5e to 5e shortly. I have the book and think my group will really enjoy it but was looking for advice from people that have actually ran it in a game.

Namely I'm looking for advice on incorporating rivals, the rival businesses and how they used downtime activities. The book is helpful but I was looking for real game advice.

Thank you for any help you guys have to give.

I haven't actually run it, but I like the idea of offloading some of the GMs work to players. If I ever run a campaign in real life instead of online I might use it.

If your players are down for the concept, then at character creation why not ask them "what would be the opposite of your character" to make sure they recognize a OotS vs. Linear Guild style gag.

Read a bunch of dungeonomics articles over at critical hits. It'll get your creative juices flowing for company campaigns.
