Replace Tabaxi speed burst with Aggressive (dash as bonus action if you’re moving toward a foe to attack).

Stats wise it's fine but I don't think it should just be labeled as Lion, I mean tigers and leopards are even more aggressive then lions sense lions rely on team tactics to take down prey

A lot of creatures have very different behaviors along gender lines, it’s something I try to avoid in race design.

Ditching the physical stat bumps in favor of pack tactics would probably still be too strong, maybe the hobgoblin save face?

I'd agree that pack tactics would be to strong so that saving face ability seems like it would do nicely.
