The A&EG has the sorcerer's hand, a +2 crossbow that grants a +1 to CL and a +2 to attack when using ray spells when you (I can only assume) fire the ray spells from the crossbow.

But it only grants those benefits. Only +1 CL and only +2 to attack.

Is there an official way to, instead, apply all of a weapon's enhancements, both numeric and otherwise, to ray (or other) spells fired from it? A +1 splitting/force/etc ray of enfeeblement or whatever would be really, really nice to have. It might even make actually focusing on ray spells worthwhile, instead of just using them when all other attempts at Diplomacy have failed. It would also be a really neat trick for optimization, if done well, especially if feats could also apply. I mean, an aptitude ray-spell crossbow would be very, very nice.

I'd accept anything from a d20 source, at this point.

The Genius Guide to Rune Staves and Wyrd Wands by Rogue Genius Games sounds like you are looking for.

Instead of wands that just cast spells, wyrd wands act as magic weapons for spells, complete with the equivalent of weapon special qualities.
