Anybody know anything about tesla coils? Ie, how they work, how to build one, where the find parts, etc.

Im hoping someone can give me a better explanation than I can find on the net. Thx to anyone with any info

I knew a guy who built one once, his advice was to research it well because they are very dangerous if your not careful. They can kill you, especially if you don't build them correctly.

That seems to be the universal law when it comes to cool toys.

not really.

but back on topic. find some one with more experience in electronics to assist you and someone you wouldn't miss to much to try it out.
