On Tantrists and desires

Out of curiosity - did anybody do a fifth edition conversion for the Tantrist class (3.5) or any other class from 'that' book? They were actually a neat concept as long as everybody in the group was fine with them. I'm of an opinion that a bit of adult content would do no harm if people are okay with that, but I've come across several vocal opinions that anything even remotely sexual should never be a part of an actual rulebook again (I'm talking 3rd party, because obviously it would be really weird for that kind of stuff to be AL-legal).

So, what are your opinions on that subject and do you know of any related resource/conversion that is worth of checking out?
