Shadow Demon (proper name) Was Given No HD?

So just an observation from a lesser known but apparently official book, The Animated Series Handbook does not seem to give HP/HD to Shadow Demon (SD). This is not kind of monster known as a shadow demon (sd) but a proper named being. SD is similar to a sd in abilities but differs in areas. He seems like a modified sd. At any rate, am I just overlooking his HD or is it an actual oversight on the editor(s)'s part?

Yes, it appears they forgot to add that line. Unless there's errata for it somewhere, you'll have to add it yourself...

IMHO it is supposed to be a 3.5 (later version) stat block/update of the Shadow Demon from BoVD p.172, so it should have 45hp (10d8 HD).

You can reverse engineer its HD/HP from the stat block in the Animated Series book: it is an outsider with BAB +10, ergo it is 10d8 HD. It also has a Con modifier of 0.
