7th, 13th, and 19th level Sorcerer feature.

A Sorcerer's spells are more potent than those of their comrades. At 7th level, add 1 to the spell level of each Sorcerer spell you cast. At 13th level, add 2 to the spell's level instead - at 19th level, add 3 instead.


Honestly, I think this looks more powerful than it really is. For most damage-dealing spells, this adds 1-3 additional dice of damage. For a lot of utility spells, it either improves the duration or gives you 1-3 additional targets.

The one type of spell that this might actually break this is summoning spells... which the Sorcerer doesn't have ready access to.

And yes, you would add the bonus before determining how difficult it is to counter your spells or whether or not they can pierce a Globe of Invulnerability. In my mind, Sorcerers should be all about raw force.
