View Full Version : AL necromancer and s9 help

We've discussed the problem w/ running a necro in AL here before: about the time you get a small army of undead, they can't hurt much because almost all monsters you fight take half damage from them (they resist attacks that aren't from magic weapons).

There is an item from Avernus - I think it's a Hellish Battle Standard or something. It's main property is to grant all allies within some large range the ability to attack as if using magic weaponry.

This item is hard to get, but you can DM-reward yourself with it.

It would also be good for casters that summon swarms of conjured animals. Perhaps Animate Object.

My main worry is that AL might make the item go away after s9 ends. I hope not.
