Categorized Cleric Spell Sheet

I've had a lot of time on my hands lately (three guesses why) so I've been putting together kind of cheat-sheets for my players in excel to (maybe) help them speed up their turns in combat.

Our tempest cleric has trouble picking what spell to use: It seems like he knows what he wants to do, but not which spell he should use to accomplish that. I categorized each spell as damage, healing, buff, debuff, area control, and a few non-combat categories. Added a few more useful details and here we are. If there's interest I can make one for other domains since the heavy lifting's already done.

It's kinda busy. It might be helpful after getting used to it, though.

Personally, I'd rather just list everything by level as normal, but have symbols for each category.

Something like

⚔ Damage
⚡ Lightning
🌩 Thunder (or combine those two)
💚 Healing
➕ Buff
➖ Debuff
🎛 Area Control
🧠 Concentration
⏳ Ritual

(Or just have C / R for concentration / ritual)

Pretty cool. I’d like to see the same for all classes or all spells. It’s a tool I would definitely use as a player because it’s more or less how I pick my spells.

I've been adding other domains as people ask for them in this reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/dndnext/comments/fm1x24/categorized_cleric_spell_list/) (not going to bother updating in two places). If you ask for something specific there I'll get around to it eventually.
