Your thoughts on Basic Fantasy RPG ...

Hey all,

A friend of mine found this gem of a website for Basic Fantasy RPG (http://www.basicfantasy.org/main.html). I'd like to hear your experiences with the system ... a system of old school D&D and d20 Open Gaming. What I've read so far is fantastic, definitely an old school look and feel.

This seems pretty interesting. Definitely gonna check it out. I think my dad will like it a lot, he's been playing since D&D first came out.

Basic Fantasy Roleplaying Game is pretty good. The fact that AB doesn't scale 1:1 by Level is very interesting, as it basically allows Characters to gain Levels without unbalancing the game. I prefer slow Level gain myself, but it is also a good approach.
