Enhanced Editor Interface Problem

I have selected the Enhanced Interface for the editor in the forum settings. Now, whenever I double-click on a word to highlight it, I cannot edit it directly by pressing the letter keys on my keyboard; nothing happens if I do so. Instead, I can delete it, after which the cursor disappears and I cannot write until I reposition it with the mouse.

This doesn't happen if I highlight the word by holding the mouse button and swiping to the right or to the left.

I'm on Chrome.

Please be aware: The "Enhanced Interface" is not the default for a reason. Use at your own risk. I do not recommend it for a lot of reasons, especially because it generates unnecessary extra code. It is also not going to see any updates to work with newer browsers, as this version of vBulletin is not receiving feature updates, only security patches.

Have you tried using it in a different browser?

Thanks for the answer. I'm writing this post with Firefox, and it apparently doesn't have any problem. So I guess it's a Chrome thing (that, or some add-on).
