So here is a neat combo I found, I wonder how it could be further optimized


The character is a samsaran
Aeriel assaulter fighter 2/Slayer 10


He takes the vital strike feat chain, and norborger's silent ahiv divine fighting technique, in addition to the regular throwing feats, and close quarters shooter

and the following talents

Mountenside ambush

Mountainside Ambush (Ex) (Martial Arts Handbook pg. 18): Samsaran only. Fighting in the mountains of Zi Ha has trained samsaran slayers to strike the unwary with deadly attacks from above. If a slayer deals sneak attack damage to a creature that is unaware of his presence while he is standing on higher ground than his target, he does not have to roll sneak attack damage; instead, the sneak attack deals maximum damage. The samsaran must be standing on solid ground to use this ability.


Marksman's shot

Marksman’s Shot (Ex) (Chronicle of Legends pg. 6): Those who seek to slay with a single shot must have keen eyes and perfect poise. As an attack action, the slayer makes a single ranged attack at his highest attack bonus with a ranged weapon he wields. The target of the attack must be the slayer’s studied target. On a successful hit, the slayer doubles the number of sneak attack dice applied to the attack; if the attack was not a sneak attack, this benefit does not apply.



Combo'd with the fighter abilities, the moment this dude gets in melee
He uses a move action to get a higher ground, a swift to make the opponnet unaware, and then slam his thrown weapon into him from melee, dealing tons of damage to the enemy.

He has full BaB, pretty good skills (and regular slayer stuff), uses talents to get through feats quickly, and even if his trick doesnt always work to the max with high ground, he can still take nasty shots at people from afar


Stuff Im looking for currently

1. Ways for the slayer to get consistent flight/levitation for more options, preferrably noncasting and inclass
2. Ways to throw the biggest weapon possible so he can get enormous amounts of damage
3. Just other fun stuff that merge with the build well

Marksman shot requires ranged attack, aeriel assaulter wants you to stand adjacent.

So you use close quarter thrower to throw ranged weapons into melee

Doesn't seem like you need to be adjacent? But you do need to be standing on solid ground. How do you ensure that in a non-mountain environment?

As a move action, he can attempt an Acrobatics check with the DC equal to the CMD of an adjacent enemy


So the combo won't work to the fullest against a flyer, but you still get the marksman's shot clause (and if you have place you can take the startoss style to benefit from vtial atrikes on throws)
