Im thinking about turning some homebrew classes/subclasses into prestige classes for my homebrew campaign. What i need help with is the layout prestige classes and how many levels a prestige class should have. Im thinking that my players have a max level of normal classes as 20 and an additional max level of prestige classes of maybe 10 for a total level of 30. we may not go that far but i leave when the campaign ends up to my players and i do have some very high level (think ultra crazy, every creature is pretty much a tarrasque style) stuff kinda laid out (still a long ways off). i will eventually lay out my prestige class rules and share my prestige classes but a little base input would be nice.
