Or maybe this is more DM Help.

I do have a house rule, that as long as the PC can do some sort of spellcasting, can read and comprehend the language on the scroll , any spell scroll can be attempted to be used, even if the spell is outside the class's list.

On to the situation
Players found 3 magic rings, table of 10 rare ones, roll random to see which one they pulled. Somehow Ring of Spell Storing was pulled twice.

Got an EK with a pseudodragon familiar,
Now at base rules, you can cast a spell with Range:Touch through the familiar, the PC's action, the famililar's reaction.

What if, the EK cast a spell into the ring, gave the ring to their familiar, familiar attunes to the ring. Could the Familiar cast the stored spell? and/or Would you as a DM allow this?

Going forward, the familiar would hang on to the ring, and to recharge/replenish it, the EK can simply cast into the ring(per RAW), without transferring hands and re-attuning every time.

Seems OP, also seems like fun.

Sure I would allow it.

First of all, you can only have 5 spell levels worth of spells in there. To be honest, there isn't that much damage a familiar can do with 5 spells levels worth of spells (outside of a familiar having it's own familiar.... No, just no).

Second, a familiar can't take much abuse. If it gets around that the pseudodragon running around with the group is casting spells it becomes a target very quickly. And 1 well placed arrow can drop the familiar, potentially making the ring fall to the ground and be stolen by a bad guy who wants it.
