Help needed with enchantment

Hi guys...

Need some help or inspiration

I want to create a Starmantle Cloak, but I want it to not shine like a torch, or at least have the option to turn that off... But I'm unsure of how to price that or what specific enchantment or spell to use to achieve an effect that can make it not shine bright like a diamond.

Does anyone have a idear for enchantments, spells or pricing for such a thing?

Add darkness to its spell requirements, and another 6k gp crafting cost (at the most). This is waiving the multiple effects surcharge, since you’re not using it to shed darkness but just to swallow its own light. This is still probably a bit high, but the Starmantle Cloak is arguably underpriced as-is. I would describe the visual effect as the cloak being a black as the night sky, and the weapons it turns into starlight being sucked into the void of the cloak rather than dissipating.

Metamagic versions of items that emulate spells should be possible, as long as the base price increases proportionately for the metamagic cost. Invisible Spell in Cityscape is a +0 metamagic that removes the spell's visual effects.
