So I have a ridiculous gestalt character with levels in Wizard(Necromancy), Master Specialist(Necromancy), Loremaster, Factotum, Archivist, and Archmage, with his skill-set most heavily focused in Arcana, Religion, Planar Knowledge, and Healing, with a couple ranks in almost every other skill. He just cracked epic level, he has plenty of time and money, and he's interested in starting a school. While he doesn't exactly like the idea of being an educator, he's reached the point where training students sounds like a better way to polish his skills than to kill yet another dragon with unholy blood magic. Plus, a few more allied eyes and ears out in the world never hurt.

Because of the way our campaign progressed, we just took class levels rather than belong to dedicated organizations, so the DM never fleshed them out. I'm looking, ideally, for Canon examples for organizations that accept/teach the character's classes, so I have something to model after (minus Wizard, I have enough game and pop culture examples to follow there.)

I'm also looking for conjecture and suggestions how specifically their instruction would work, given what we know about the classes. For example, the archivist schtick is "terrible knowledge", so I thought a flavorful means of instruction or rite of advancement would be submitting yourself to a magic device which scans you, and the entire school library of dark lore, and telepathically communicates awful knowledge which you CAN handle, but REALLY don't want to.

He doesn't necessarily have offer instruction in any/all Classes, or all in the same school, but unless costs get really gonzo he can probably afford it. While he's not opposed to teaching occasional classes, that's a big caseload for one guy, so the staff will have to be considered as well.

As an aside, the character is heavily anti-theist, so any Divine casters he employs will either be Archivists or Clerics of ideals.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, as always.

There's also the Crimson Codex from City of Stormreach.

The way you train a factotum is to require them to do everything. Give them a large knowledge base to work from (telepathically, ideally, perhaps by finding a mentalist to enact some psychic chirurgery or whatnot), then give them impossible workloads to force them to cheat.
Antitheism generally runs counter to the flavour of factotum healing, though, if I'm remembering right, but you might find a way to cheat the ability in anyway.
