aberrant mark

Ok, so, Aberrant marks are one of my favourite things in eberron. I love their flavour and all of that. Kind of sucked my dm is against the getting an epic boon part. But oh well. I'm just wondering, what is the best sorcerer spells to choose for it?

If you take it from 1st level as a V. Human then Mage Armor/Shield are great choices allowing you to offload knowing pretty great (and sometimes mandatory) spells to the feat and getting a free casting per day. Cantrip wise utility is probably best, so something like Mage Hand etc.
