I was thinking of making a homebrew magic item for the 5e game I'm am DM'ing. I have pvp every 5 levels and award a magic item to the winner. Outside of that I rarely give magic items for now at least. I was thinking of making a magic scroll tube that will give you a random scroll having 5 charges. You can pull out a random scroll that has a level equal to the charges spent. I was also thinking of giving it a scaling mechanic of like pay 10 life for extra charges or to increase the scroll level by 1
