You all (in a from no larger than 'large') hang out in the "club house" lobby of the "staff housing area" of Bill Bail Bond's Office and Pawn Shop and Prawn Ranch (Bill will never admit to any mistake in purchase of signage or equipment) .

The prawn ponds and basketball court, employee parking, stables, and areas converted to gardens with dubious authorization are out back. There is a 'Warshen Masheen

Your rooms, freezers, machine shops, forges, and roof-top garden all open into this lounge/lobby/break-room which is littered with curb couches, bean bag chairs, converted ping-pong tables, benches, weight benches, tanks of prawn spawn, fridges of random food, barrels and quarts of oil, aquariums of fish, bearded dragons, hamsters, newts, and a giant tadpole that may or may not be an illithid spawn liberated/rescued from the custody of now mostly incarcerated 'clients', as well as a scattering of beta bowls and house-plants of similar provenance.

You entertain yourselves at the bar, snooker table, juke box and stacks of random books, magazines, and religious tracts. There's not much on tele-crystal-screen since sports were canceled. The miscellaneous assortment of cooking appliances are available for those who partake.

The Psi-fi is a little buzzy, but usually fast enough to avoid insanity induction.

With a rumble and the clunk of rezising, George walks into the lounge in his characteristic Trilby and Hawaiian shirt, carrying the daily newspaper in one hand. Shrunk down to his 'mere' seven foot eight 'medium' height, he is still almost four and a half feet across the shoulders and each step makes the ground groan slightly. He nods his head to the others as he makes his way towards a steel and concrete-reinforced chair, sitting down and calling out to the racoon. "Cup Of Joe Please, Bandit." he rumbles, indicating the large fake coffee cup he uses to fit in. Course, the Golem never drinks. Or eats. But he does like to use a prop to feel like he belongs there.

I Understand That There Will Be Several Classical Models Of The Indian Chief Being Shown There." he asks, smiling. The Motorcycle hobby has been one of the longer-running ones for the Golem, at about six years of enthusiasm now, and George has been making a little extra money for himself and Bill on the side with a buy-refurbish-sell scheme. It's just a shame he can never ride any of the bikes. He has been trying to build one solid enough to take his weight, but as of yet, there has been no joy.

Bandit whirls a finger around an ear and points to the case of N95's by the door. He thinks humans going to bike shows in an epidemic are crazy.

Bill has been keeping you guys pretty busy, as you are his Immune Squad. You are pretty much the only crew he can send out without hazmat suits and those filters are expensive.

But it is work in starts and stops. Most of the courts are down or only doing cases by remote so there isn't as much process work as usual.

However, he'll find work in other jurisdictions to keep you busy enough.

As if to illustrate the point, in bursts BILL from the door leading to his office, the office manager Cindy Lou Who on his heels with a basket of paperwork and lanyards.

Ya'll are going to Vegas to pick up a mixed herd of llamas and other critters from some petting zoo. Drop the llamas off in Denver at GEN-U-TEC. They want them for Covid antibody research. We'll figure out what to do with the sheep and such later. says the diminutive Who.

"NO GETTING ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH ON COMPANY TIME! HOOK UP THE CATTLE TRAILER TO THE OTHER RIG. PETE AND JOE AL GO WITH YA." he refers to the two halfling drivers/gofurs/office boys.

Orders given, BILL returns to his office as Cindy Lou walks up to Shiver and Husk.
"We are rounding up the others and getting them in the sleeper cab. Here's your paperwork. Maps, Logs, CDLs, Permits to hunt men across state lines, not that you'd need em, company IDs, meal vouchers, gas and kibble cards, toll passes and expense cash. No receipt and it comes out of your pay.

George isn't considered a person in half the states you're going through so here's his license plates and tags and your permit to operate him as an industrial load lifter or crane. Make sure you got the orange vest and the hard hat and he has the amber lights.

They'll have the Agriculture certificates when you get there. Don't leave without them.

You're going to Lloyd's Llama Llounge and Rranch outside of Vegas. "

You load up the truck, feed the giant hamsters under the hoods, and before you know it you are having lunch at a truck stop in Chattanooga (Bandit's home town, but he isn't on the trip with you, though he did hand you a shopping list.).

For the lunch run, well, he doesn't eat, but he goes into the truck stop with the others and asks for a mug of boiling hot oil from the fryer. The heat does some good for the Golem, but he does have to be very careful not to spill.

In the space of 6 seconds a 28ft tall iron behemoth stands in the road, and from his back come slightly transparent, magical wings. No, not angel wings what kind of romantic fanfic writer are you? No, from George's back come two sweeping plane wings, complete with magical translucent jet engines that start to lift the golem into the air.

Grows, activates his Angelic Aspect and slips into Steel Grappler's Attitude Stance, meaning he counts as gargantuan for effects to move him against his will.

Using Charge of the Battle Panthera to charge 80ft towards the bird, followed by a two handed massive blow towards the ground

Shiver takes the lizard by surprise and cleaves though it with one blow. It drops from the sky landing harmlessly in a field.

The tractor tiers that were following it swarm her. The first to approach is a smaller front tire (medium) and she hacks it into chunks as it passes her outer reach.

The other 3 medium tires and 2 large ones all try to crash into her.

It then angrily fires a stronger bolt at George which forks off a weaker branch at Shiver.

Having surveyed the situation to her satisfaction, Husk focuses her attention on the the critters attacking her crewmates. She climbs onto the highest point of the truck, drops down into a ready crouch, and waits for the proper moment to leap into the fray.

As it isn't being opposed, Husk is now on George, and can mount the ballista next round if mutually desired.

The other 5 bird monsters (is anyone making knowledge:planes/lore checks?) fly in to 100 ft of George, spacing themselves out as much as possible. They all unload (targeting both George and Husk, but as Big G is immune to their attack, only Husk has to dodge. For each dodge, roll balance to keep from falling off. Alternately, she can just soak up the lightening and hang on to George.)

Shiver's perspective on things:

Shiver killed the flying lizard thing with one blow, and then was attacked by the flying animated tractor tires that were following it. She destroyed the first one with an AoO.

The other tires then ineffectually buffeted her. These tires are now all in melee range of her. (She can probably destroy all 5 in one round, or ignore them as they have to crit to hit her.)

She gets hit by a lightening bolt from the ground and takes the rolled damage.

When she gets a chance to look around she will see that George is hovering in a defensive pose over a dead bird-snake (obliterated), and that the other five are spaced out surrounding him at a range of 100 ft spitting lightening at him.
The closest of these to Shiver is about 100 ft.

She also sees another lizard thing about 80 ft away being followed by ...Yellow squares.

Husk is on the ground about 150 ft away fighting with Ronald McDonald and friends.

The tornado is about 200 ft away moving towards a town.

About 5 rounds of catch up.

I -think- this works but:
At 9th level, the warder may expend two uses of her armiger’s mark to make a grand challenge to all enemies within a 30 ft. radius and mark them with her words alone. Creatures affected must make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 warder level + warder initiation modifier) against the warder’s mark ability or suffer the penalties of being marked for a number of rounds equal to her warder initiation modifier. This does not count against her normal marking limit. This is a language-dependent ability and does not effect creatures of less than 1 Intelligence.

So at the end of his 120ft double move George is 30ft away from the lizards right? so he uses this, with a Will save DC of 27, and the penalty to attack anyone but george is -6. According to the paragraph above the quoted one, marking is a free action!

More the lizards are 100 ft from each other and 150 ft from George, so we'll just say that George goes after and challenges the one being followed by the yellow squares.

The lizard creature doesn't like the look of George and flies 120 ft off passing the one with the red squares.

Shiver returns from her fight with the tornado, a few minor cuts and bruises on her but nothing. An interesting warm-up, but ultimately not much of a challenge. But if anyone can heal, I would appreciate it, just in case some other restaurant symbol decides to attack us

Before you left Bill gave you the usual emergency kit. Each of you were given 1 vials of cure minor wound (1 hp), 2 potions of cure light woulds, 2 potions of cure moderate wounds, 2 potions of cure critical wounds, and 2 each of the same of the 'oil of repair damage' equivalents. He gave the usual contradictory warnings of not using them unless you really need them, and that "you can't take a potion when you're dead."

At the moment your druid is awake... and it will probably take a day or two to get to Vegas, depending on how hard you push.

Elad heals Shiver with a touch and a few words of power. Then he gets back intot he truck for the drive.

When they arrive at the diner, he orders a serve of sea bass, grilled, and a side serve of grits. Although the pairing is not really usual, he likes both foods and has no problem with combining them. He takes his coke from the counter where he placed the order, then takes his seat again. He looks over at George and asks, "Are you okay there, George, or do you need repairs?" He can cast the spell easily, but prefers to save it if it isn't badly needed.

One would probably expect a frost giantess to eat like a barbarian, without utensils, manners and in record time. While Shiver eats a copious amount of food, she is quite neat about it (although the ribs are a bit messy), but everything else is eaten in at least a semblance of a lady-like fashion

Elad studies the picture of the prize winning cow for a while, then when the food arrives he sits down and quickly devours his food. He shows remarkable grace, as is his way, in spite of him ploughing through the food quickly. He then watches as the others eat theirs, relaxing and leaning back in his seat. He resists the urge to put his feet up on the table, deciding it might upset his larger and more formidable friends.

Elad climbs down from the truck and stretches. He considers letting Fluffy down from the truck to go for a run, but decides that it will frighten the llamas. He goes over to the fence to look for the hairy beasts, trying to figure out if he will be able to control them in any way. He pays some attention to what is being said, but he is more interested in animals than people.

Elad doesn't see any animals, but he sees plenty of signs of animals. Pellets, grazed grass, bits of fur stuck in the fence. They must be in that barn back there that he can barely make out in the darkness.

Following the fence she walks by a lean-oo of the kind that would provide shelter to animals from too much sun during the day, and rounds the corner of the paddock.

She sees a barn and 6 human shaped figures standing around. One is kneeling at the door.

Shiver: The ceilings are higher than one might expect, and there are seats sized for halflings, humans, and giants in a lobby with a bar. The lighting has a pink tint.

A woman wearing a loud flower-print dress approaches, smiling. Her teeth are perfect, and it is impossible to tell if she is in her 40's or 60's. Her hair has a lot of volume.

"Hello Sweety. Are you here to do paper work with LLeon? I'm Lloise. His office is right though there. He's expecting you, walk right in. "

Elad: Gazing into the darkness and not seeing llamas, Elad instead looks at the starry sky. The dry air and altitude makes a big difference, they look closer here than in Florida.

Suddenly, there is a woman in Ethnic clothing (Spam some knowledge checks to see if you can tell what ethnic group.) Her skin has a brown hue and she looks sort of Asian. She wears a medallion with a sunburst pattern.

She says something direct sounding. Can't tell if it is a statement or a question, and the language is unrecognizable, but she seems to be expecting a response.

Elad looks at the woman without comprehension. He doesn't recognise the holy symbol, and he doesn't know the language. He gestures at his mouth and then his ear, then he shakes his head, trying to sign to her that he doesn't understand. He finds himself wishing suddenly that he knew a little less about animals and a little more about people. He watches the woman closely for a sign of what she is trying to communicate, now that she should hopefully know that he doesn't understand.
