Hello fellow playgrounders!!
I recently started up a campaign "Cassess City of Nets" which is my first ever on-line campaign. It's not a medium I've used before because I always thought things would just drag and drag. Surprisingly however it's been great fun, but I find myself missing all the props that I normally have when playing in real life.
During the recent combat in that campaign I decided I needed a grid map to make things clearer to the players - so I totally ripped one off from the Arena Tournament games and adjusted it.
It was simple, effective and added to the play experience considerably.
Consequently... I went looking here to see if anyone had ever made a place where people could show off the maps they had used in their campaigns. To my surprise I couldn't find one.
I'm hoping the "If you build it they will come" principle applies here and that all those talented people who like to build these things will happily let others here on the boards use their simple maps.
I will be building some - Although given the quality of artwork I've seen on these boards I have no doubt that they will be outshone by those with better software and skills.
What say you fellow playgrounders?
