Psychic Strike Blade Skill

As a Gifted Blade, I lose access to Psychic Strike... The Blade Skill "Psychic Strike" grants the character the Psychic Strike Class Feature... Some agree that I gain the entire class feature, some say that I only gain the base +1d8 psychic Strike and doesnt scale with level.

Can someone clear this up for me please and provide a link/source stating how it's intended to function?

If you'll open your copy of Psionics Augmented: Soulknives (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/173648/Psionics-Augmented-Soulknives) to page 6, or your copy of Psionics Augmented Compilation II (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/243693/Psionics-Augmented-Compilation-2) to page 20, you'll see the verbiage on the Psychic Strike blade skill is "When learned, this skill allows the soulknife to add an additional 1d8 points of damage to an attack with her mind blade, as per the psychic strike class feature. This may be improved by the Powerful Strikes blade skill."

So, as presented, it stays at 1d8 until you take Powerful Strikes (to make it 2d8). It can still be used to power other effects that demand you expend your psychic strike, since it truly is psychic strike.
