Has Paizo stopped production of any new 1E material and fully moved onto starfinder and 2E? I know Coronavirus interferes with this, but the dates seem to suggest a movement before Corona got popular with the world.

2nd Edition came out and that's the end of 1e support. What's on Nethys (and the Omdura) is all the 1st party content we're going to get.

Plenty of high-quality 3pp content is still being made though, at least by Dreamscarred Press, Drop Dead Studios, and Legendary Games

Here's a news item (https://comicbook.com/gaming/news/pathfinder-first-edition-cancelled-new-material/) from last Thursday which confirms there won't be any more original first edition content from Paizo, although they'll keep reprinting the hardcovers in the small paperback format.

Tyrant's Grasp was the last AP printed for first edition. Planar Adventures was the last hardcover, and I think Chronicle of Legends was the last Player Companion.

I'm pretty sure this one's dead at least. They haven't had new content on their stores in 1-2 years now and they don't respond when I tweet them with questions.

Apparently DSP only has one author writing content and he's recently gone through hell (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/197021008/psionics-guide-for-starfinder-rpg-from-dreamscarre/posts/2595319).

As it happens, I've experienced much of that myself over the past few months, so I know full well how that feels--and how difficult it is to make it through any given day, much less manage any creative output. Best thing to do is recognize that DSP is going through some tough times, to put it mildly, and sometimes it's all you can do to survive the grinder of life.

Oh, jeez, that's a lot. No wonder.

It isn't that there is only one writer, but rather that DSP only has one person handling all the non-writing parts. Like a lot of other publishers in the industry, DSP contracts freelancers to do a lot of the writing work. Those freelancers are still around and available for work, but with Jeremy very understandably focused on other parts of his life, DSP doesn't have anyone to turn writing into a finished product.

So people associated with DSP are still around - and some are even still writing content - but just not for DSP.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm not that familiar with DSP nor the 3PP industry in general.

As I said, I've been through a lot of what Jeremy has, and in roughly the same timeframe, so I understand where he is right now.
