PbP question

Heya everyone. I'm about to start DMing a campaign on the PbP section of the forum, and was wondering if you guys could give me a hand with this doubt that I have.
At first I wanted 5 players to play the campaign, and designed the first bit of the campaign for a 5 members party, but I got a lil bit more than 5 good interested players. I thought about making a second party, but it would be too troublesome for me.

My doubt is: How hard/complicated is to DM a PbP campaign with 6~7 players ?

It's about the same, just remember to put the CR of the party at a bit of a higher level. A single CR 8 creature is easily wiped out against a party of 6-7 level 8s, where 4-5 would have a harder time.

You'll probably have a few players drop out of the game eventually, so I wouldn't worry too much about starting with extra people.
