I'm newish to D&D and really want to learn about the classes but am having trouble finding handbooks on this site especialy for the fighter and ranger. Also handbooks for things which aren't classes would be cool to read about.

I like the ones on this site better because of peer oversight.

Sadly beggers can't be choosers. Not every single class has been broken down by someone on this site, or by someone on this site that is still reachable. Take which ones you can still get help on, and go read and ask questions in a new thread for the ones that you can't.

It wouldn’t be bad to have an updated version, to include handbooks not included/written since the MinMax index was last updated (though it is an excellent resource and a number of those handbooks are here on these forums) — and to remove, or dig up ports from, now-defunct Wizards forum links.

Notably, Troacctid’s deep-dive Warlockopedia (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?577317-The-Warlockopedia-A-Comprehensive-Warlock-Handbook) is one highly worthy of inclusion — and I’m sure there must be others.

You'll find a lot of the same pee-ers in both user-pools.

Most of the handbooks on that forum have been made by people who have posted here at least once if that helps. This is the most active 3.5 forum after all, lots of cross-pollination.

I know what I'll write is really borderline, but in fact : Just tip "d&d 3.5 X handbook" or "d&d 3.5 X optimization", with X as your searched class/ability, on your favorite search tool.

That's how I discovered the better handbook gems on the net. It's sometimes a bit of a hassle to search, but when you find them (and if it exists you'll find it) and add them as favorites, life is made easier.

In fact, it also allows you to discover multiple version/errata of a same or similar handbook, so to choose what you want to read :)

Agreed. And their are many incomplete guides and handbooks in the index. It could due with a clean up.

Have you shared your work to the Member-Produced Content sticky? If I read it right, I think they're trying to consolidate all these guides into one place, along with quarrantining all the advertisements into one thread.
